About the project
The Need
Vocational education and training systems are under increasing pressure to respond to rapid technological and labour market changes. At the same time, individuals with intellectual disabilities continue to face barriers in accessing training and employment.
There is a clear need for inclusive, flexible and accessible training approaches that combine practical skills with personalised learning.
The Aim
EN-AI-BLE aims to improve access to vocational training for people with intellectual disabilities by developing an inclusive, AI-supported learning ecosystem that supports both learners and educators.
The project focuses on providing accessible, practical training in electronics, while enabling personalised learning through adaptive technologies and innovative digital tools. At the same time, it strengthens the capacity of VET providers to deliver inclusive, high-quality training aligned with labour market needs.
Through the integration of micro-credentials, EN-AI-BLE also supports the recognition and validation of skills, helping learners improve their employability and transition more effectively into the workforce.
The Objectives
EN-AI-BLE aims to:
- develop an AI-enhanced vocational training platform tailored to learners with intellectual disabilities
- equip learners with recognised micro-credentials in electronics-related skills
- support access to employment through cooperation with VET providers and industry partners
- reduce learning barriers through adaptive content and assistive technologies
- introduce innovative VET approaches using AI, digital tools and gamification
- ensure scalability by engaging VET providers, policymakers and industry stakeholders
